    • Represented deaf individuals in settlement of claims under the Rehabilitation Act after 30 verdicts of liability for disability discrimination were entered and 23 verdicts of damages, settling claims in a non-confidential settlement for more than 1.5 million in damages, attorneys’ fees and costs  
    • Represented deaf individuals in settlement of claims under the Americans with Disabilities Act and Rehabilitation Act against a large nursing home
    • Represented deaf individuals in settlement of claims under the Fair Housing Act against a Condominium Association and its President
    • Represented disabled individuals in discrimination claims under the Fair Housing Act based on disability including discriminatory treatment claims, disparate impact claims, failure to accommodate claims, retaliation claims and for actual and punitive damages 
    • Represented associations and unit owners in handling the interactive process for reasonable accommodations based on disability and handling other discrimination claims including claims based on familial status
    • Defended shopping plaza against ADA modification claims
    • Defended insureds as appointed insurance defense counsel in various discrimination claims
  • Bankruptcy Litigation
    • Represented unit owners and community association in litigating claims in Chapter 7, 11 and 13 bankruptcy proceedings in main and adversary proceedings including objections to confirmation, objections to discharge or dischargeability, objections to confirmation, relief from stay, approval of settlements, extensions of the automatic stay and for dismissals based on bad faith filings
    • Represented creditors in filing proof of claims and settling claims
    • Represented debtors in filing Chapter 7 and 13 bankruptcies
    • Represented military veterans through Broward Legal Aid Veterans Pro Bono Project to obtain discharges in Chapter 7 and 13 proceedings
  • Probate Litigation
    • Defended guardians and beneficiaries in litigation of breach of fiduciary duty, fraudulent transfer and self-dealing claims for multi-million dollar estate
  • Appellate Litigation
    • Represented appellants on appeal in the Third and Fourth District of Florida and Eleventh Circuit of the United States Court of Appeals
    • Obtained reversals of judgments on appeal or affirmed decisions on cross-appeal in the favor of represented clients
